I grew up in the 2nd house on the left of the photo looking north on Main Rd.Westport Point.
My father Manuel P. Cabral was a grain sales man and was caught in the 1938 hurricane while taking orders at horseneck beach—it had a profound effect on his life as he saw ocean “as high as the telephone poles.”
